    Rivers Edge Park May 8th-9th, 2015 Celebrate CB is excited about the 10th Annual Barbecue in the Bluffs Competition. 2015 will mark our 11th year, and will continue for the third year at the Barbecue’s permanent home, Thomas P. Hanafan Rivers Edge Park next to the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge. BBQ Contestants will compete in four Categories: Chicken, Pork, Ribs and Brisket at the Kansas City Barbecue Society’s sanctioned event. A total cash purse of $8300 will be awarded in addition to points teams earn toward the total KCBS score for the year. To find out about KCBS BBQ competitions visit their web page at www.kcbs.org. The route begins and ends in Downtown Council Bluffs, and is centered around The historical and beautiful Bayliss Park area.     Thanks to the generous support from Union Pacific Corporation and a grant from the Iowa West Foundation, a family pass for Railroad Days is only $15! One $15 pass admits two adults and your dependent children or two grandparents and up to four grandchildren, for both days. A $5 pass is also available for one additional adult with purchase of a family pass. This includes transportation between locations and all the special activities that each location has to offer.
