Allen D. "Dean" Hunt

Allen D. Dean Hunt, age 68, passed away June 5, 2015 at Oakland Manor in Oakland, Iowa. Dean was born in Glenwood, Iowa on November 26, 1946 to the late George S. and Amy Loretta (Kearns) Hunt. Dean graduated from Malvern High School with the class of 1964. He had owned and operated the Cleanest Laundry in Town. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Matney. Dean is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Judy Hunt; sister, Peggy Matney; niece, Brenda Black and her husband Corey; nephews, Timothy Hunt and Mark Kemp; great nephew, Colton Kemp. Private graveside services will be held in the Silver City Cemetery. Friends are invited to a reception in his honor from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. on Saturday June 20, 2015 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
