Arch Spencer Jr

August 5, 1978 — February 14, 2019

Arch Spencer Jr, age 40, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away February 14th, 2019.
Arch was born at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado on August 5, 1978 to Arch and Darlene Spencer.

Arch is survived by both of his parents, Arch Spencer Sr. of Omaha and Darlene Spencer-Eilenstine of Blair; sister, Karenda Silver of Omaha; brother in law, Paul Silver of Omaha; son, Travis Spencer of Fredericksburg, Virginia; nieces, Taylor Silver of Omaha and Briana Silver of Omaha. He has several aunts and uncles who reside in Blair, Maryland and West Virginia.

Arch loved sports and grew up playing baseball and being part of the boy scouts. He was an avid and loyal Chicago Cubs fan from an early age as well as the Denver Broncos. He and his father were able to make his dreams come true with his first trip to Wrigley Field in 2002 and attended the College World Series every year.

Arch held several jobs, he graduated from Creighton University Paramedic Program in 2006. He loved people, Arch wanted others to be treated with kindness, respect and dignity. He loved the quote " Your value does not decrease based on someone's ability to see your worth" He enjoyed making people laugh and his sarcasm will be missed by many.

Arch loved nature and animals was his passion. If you were on Facebook you would see his "Awwww moment of the day" nearly everyday. He was obsessed and collected owls. Even though he was allergic to cats he would deal with the red swollen eyes for his daily cuddles from our four cats and would constantly overfeed them treats to make sure they loved him as much as he loved them. They did.

Arch loved The Henry Doorly Zoo and found it a place of solace. He had many special memories of him and his son enjoying the zoo and spending time together there. He loved food and enjoyed his mother's German cooking. Mom was a good cook and many special memories were made over barbecues, throwing the football with his nieces and debating his brother in law in who was better, the Broncos or the Patriots.

Arch loved music and loved to Worship God through it. Matt Maher was his favorite artist and enjoyed seeing him live with his sister. Please remember all of the good times, conversations and love that was shared with him but most of all, remember as his favorite song, "Sons and Daughters" by Matt Maher states, Grace is everything. The Grace God gives, the Grace we should give one another.
