Barbara K. Wallace

Barbara Kay Wallace, age 67, passed away on June 17, 2021 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She was born in Fairfax, Missouri on October 27, 1953 to the late James and Kathryn (Noble) Rinehart. She grew up in Tarkio, Missouri, graduating from Tarkio High School with the class of 1971. She worked for Black Hills Energy for 31 years.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Mike; and brother, James “Bill” Cook.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wallace; daughter, Penny (Michael) Grubb; two grandchildren, Shane and Jacob Grubb; great grandson, Sage Grubb; sister, Dorothy Benson; sister-in-law, Edna Cook; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, June 30, 2021, 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Tarkio, Missouri. The visitation will be followed by a graveside service at the Grange Hall Cemetery in Rockport, Missouri. The family will direct memorials.
