Bernard (Bernie) Ralph Kincaid, age 80, of Council Bluffs, passed away on August 13, 2015. Bernie was born in Fort Scott, Kansas on October 9, 1934 to the late James and Helen Kincaid. He graduated from Donnelly College (ALA), and Rockhurst College (BSBA), in Kansas City. He served in the Armed Forces in Germany and Switzerland and then in the US Army Reserve for 2 years. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 34 years. Bernie is survived by his wife, Sherry; children, Charles Kincaid, Christopher Kincaid, Robert Kincaid, Donald Kincaid, Jean Shackel, Mary McBride, Jan Millard, Kathleen Kincaid; 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Bernie was the second of nine. His brothers are James, David, Ben, Paul, Joe and Tim who preceded him. His sisters are Rita Wilkus and Delores Schoenberger. He was a member of the Lakeshore Country Club; an avid golfer and cyclist. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m, at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Graveside Service is at 11:00 a.m. on the following Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the Holy Cross Cemetery, in Paola, Kansas. The family will direct memorials.
