Betty Ann Kissel

Betty A. Kissel, age 89, passed away September 7, 2018 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was born in Woodbine, Iowa on August 29, 1929 to the late Albert and Harriet Ulmer. Betty was a longtime waitress at The Grill and Mr. K’s Café.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Kissel; daughter, Carol Diane Benedict and 12 siblings.

Betty is survived by her children, Connie Surber (Jim), Michael Kissel (Liz), Isaac “Ike” Kissel, Christina Kissel; sisters, Linda Gearhart and Shirley Hare; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is 10:00a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
