Betty J. Gibler

Betty J. Gibler, 92 years, of Council Bluffs, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. She was born in Council Bluffs to Elmer and Frances (McIntosh) Phillips. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and worked as records manager at the Omaha National Bank.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John T. Gibler; brothers, Elmer, Walter and Leo Phillips and special friend, William Bills.

She is survived by her two sons, Edward Gibler (Patty) and Timothy Gibler (Peggy); 4 grandchildren, Troy Gibler (Karen), Trisha Pellett (Jay), Chad Gibler (Alesha Thomas) and Josh Gibler (Jordanne); 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:00am also at the funeral home.
