Carol J. Harwood

Carol J. Thayer-Davis-Harwood, age 89, passed away September 11, 2020.

She was born on December 23, 1930 to the late August and Edna (Heldt) Thayer in Turin, Iowa.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husbands, Eugene Davis and Arnold Harwood; children, Raymond and Mark Harwood; sister, Faye Thayer-Burgess-Jensen. She is survived by her children, Wesley Davis (Patricia), Peggy LaChappell, Kevin Davis (Tuttie), Robin Patrick (John), Bernard Harwood; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Brunch is 10:30 AM on Friday, September 18, 2020 also at the funeral home. Graveside Service is 1:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2020 in the Jordan Cemetery near Soldier, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
