Carol O. Stokes

Carol O. Stokes, age 84, of McClelland, Iowa passed away at his home on May 27, 2017.

He was born in Walthill, Nebraska on February 20, 1933 to the late Ralph and Essie (Frazey) Stokes. After high school, he proudly served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War. Carol retired from Baker’s Supermarkets.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Russell Stokes.

Carol is survived by his wife, Rhodora Stokes; children, Rhonda Ervin (Jeff), Jeffery Stokes (Marian), Marty Stokes and Brent Stokes; sister, Ruth Bowman; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Thursday June 1, 2017 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00a.m. on Friday June 2, 2017 at the Presbyterian Church in Walthill, Nebraska. Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery near Walthill.
