David G. Zufall

David Gregory Zufall....His is a story of Loss and Overcoming.
Born August 08, 1952 to Ira Clinton and Nellie (Jowett) Zufall in Orange, New Jersey. He quit his senior year in High School (1970) to Join the Marines doing Boot Camp at the Lovely Resort...Parris Island. He got his GED from the State of New Jersey (9-15-1976) after his Honorable Discharge from the Marines in 1974.
He Married and Had a son Gregory Phillip born 5-1-1983. Gregory Tragically was Lost to SIDS, Dying in David's arms only 17 days after His Birth. This became a Pivotal Point in David's life, starting a 13 year drinking problem and ending his Marriage. He joined AA and stopped Drinking on April 27th, 1997 . He was 24 years Sober this year. He joined Wal-Mart as a Temporary job 10-15-1999... Moving up through the company and taking advantage of their developmental programs ending his 22 year career with them as a Team Lead in Denison, Iowa. He Enjoyed his Work there and Loved his team. During this time He became a Member of the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) and found his Niche. He formed many Solid Relationships in this Honorable Organization Considering them Family.
After many failed Relationships He met Mary online. She often told people she just ordered him off the internet. They "Hit it off" immediately and they were united in Marriage On July 29, 2016. They deeply loved each other and their little acreage. They worked on the property, David thoroughly Enjoyed Cutting Firewood for "Mom", Learning to be a "Farmer" (Gardening), and Caring for the Animals. They loved the Movies and spent many Nights at the Rialto Theater in Missouri Valley. They took in Many Concerts David's first concert ever was Neil Diamond "The Jazz Singer"(2017). They Loved to Travel and took many Fabulous Vacations.
David was a Kind and Gentle Man with a Fun and Loving disposition. He loved unconditionally. He had a Deep Understanding of Himself and Human Nature with a Knack of Motivating Others. The Special Joy in His Life was his two Little Great Grandsons Lee and Frankie.
He was Preceded in Death By His Father (1971), His Son (1983), His Mother (1993), and His Brother Bill (2002). He Left Behind many Friends and Family and will be Deeply Missed and Always Lovingly Remembered.
