David M. Burke

David M. Burke, 81 years of Council Bluffs, passed away May 24, 2018. He was born March 23, 1937 in Council Bluffs to Charles, Sr. and Mary (McDonald) Burke. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 1955. David worked as a clerk for the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1999 after 44 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Burke, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Lou Burke; one daughter, Michelle Burianek (James); one brother, John Burke (Tamara); 4 grandchildren, Audrey Duffy, Adam, Joshua and Sarah Burianek.

Visitation with the family will be Monday 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 10:00am at the St. Patricks Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the St. Patricks Catholic Church.
