David W. Hartje

David W. Hartje, age 59, passed away April 14, 2019.

He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 11, 1959 to Waldon and Eva (Nagel) Hartje. David graduated from Treynor High School with the class of 1977 and worked at Iowa Western Community College.

He was preceded in death by his father.

David is survived by his mother, Eva Hartje; sisters, Joyce Hartje, Julia Hood (Darcy) and Lois Hartje; nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be later that afternoon in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery near Treynor, Iowa.
