Donnis Wright

Donnis L. Wright, age 82, passed away March 10, 2023.

She was born March 24, 1940, to the late Edward and Bernice (Reynolds) Hively in Council Bluffs, IA. Donnis worked in housekeeping at Jennie Edmundson for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Wright Sr.; children, Robert "Bobby" Wright, Lori Cundiff, Jeffrey Wright, and Kelly Wright; sisters, Lois Foote, Roberta McNeal, and Betty Robson.

Donnis is survived by her children, John (Anna) Wright, Lonnie (Elaine) Wright Jr., and Steven (Bess) Wright; son-in-law, Jeff Cundiff; sister, Delores Kline; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 10 AM Wednesday morning and go in procession to Memorial Park Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will direct memorials.
