Dorothy L. Spring

Dorothy L. Spring, age 100, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on October 6, 2017.

She was born in Council Bluffs on September 28, 1917 to the late Dewey and Murrel (Bascom) Smith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Spring; brothers Cliff and Dewey Smith; sister, Geneva Gorham.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Peggy Larson; Kathy Foreman (Alvin), Deb Starnes and Frank Spring II; 12 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 59 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. on Wednesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Cortege will leave the funeral home at 11:00a.m. and go in procession to Memorial Park Cemetery for a graveside service. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
