Elmer F. Muell, Sr.

Elmer F. Muell Sr., age 83, of Honey Creek, Iowa passed away at his home on February 24, 2019.

He was born in Panama, Iowa on June 15, 1935 to the late Nicholas and Clara (Kramer) Muell. Elmer proudly served his country in the United States Army and was the owner of Muell Refrigeration.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Muell; son, Elmer Muell Jr. “Butch”; brother, Harold Muell; sisters, Mildred Fastnacht, Velma Mahlberg, Arlene Holben.

Elmer is survived by his daughters, Tonette Muell, Penny Church (Keith), Tina Malone (Chris Addison); brother, Richard Muell (Mary); 6 grandchildren, Crystal Muell (A.J. Thompson), Ashley Muell, Bryan Addison, Amber Muell, Dakota Church and Dillon Church; great grandchildren, Christian, Levi and Preslie; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 9:00a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in St. Bridget Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
