Gary Albertus

Gary was born March 5th, 1951, to Gerald and Norma Albertus. 

He was raised in Persia and graduated from Tri-Center High School in 1969. He later moved to Council Bluffs where he raised his sons. Gary worked for Robert Hancock & Co. where he was a valued employee for thirty-three years. He shared many stories with his children and grandchildren about the years he lived in Persia, as that’s where his heart remained throughout his life.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Norma. 

He is survived by his sons, Greg (Tracy) and Tim (Tara); grandchildren Kyrstin, Joi, Tori, Gabriel, Hunter, Olivia, Grayson and Taylor; siblings Diana Wellman, Dennis Albertus, Ellen Rowland, and Judy Davis; nine nieces and nephews.

The family is having a luncheon at the Fire Hall in Persia on November 5th at 1:00 p.m. They invite you to join them in celebrating Gary’s life.
