George T. Ivey Jr.

George T. Ivey Jr., age 83, of Council Bluffs passed away October 31, 2016 at Midlands Living Center.

He was born in Omaha on April 13, 1933 to the late George T. Sr. and Anna R. Ivey. George retired from the Union Pacific Railroad as a car inspector.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives, Pearl and Hazel; 4 siblings.

George is survived by daughters; Tammy Zika (Ron), Terri Anderson (Andy), Michelle Forristall (Randal); siblings, Irvin Ivey (Linda), Frank Ivey (Jean), Helen Bishop, Kathy Armagost; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
