Gordon K. Brockman

Gordon K. Brockman, age 67, of Council Bluffs passed away while surrounded by his loving family on October 9, 2015 at CHI Mercy Hospital. He was born in Council Bluffs on July 21, 1948 to the late Leonard and Genevieve (Moore) Brockman. Gordon graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1966 and then went on to earn a degree in business. Gordon had proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He last worked in finance at Edwards Nissan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Shirley. Gordon is survived by his wife, Alta Brockman; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Charles Lamb, Laura and Mario Mendoza; step-sons, Phil Sales and Art Sales; brother, Lyle Brockman (Valerie); sisters, Wallene Rogers, Tina Keenan (Bill); 14 grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
