Helen Marie Nielsen

Helen M. (Herold) West-Nielsen, age 86, passed away August 20, 2015. She was born June 1, 1929 to the late Ernest and Margaret Herold. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren. Helen is survived by her children, Linda Dollen (Arlen), Teresa Bruggeman (Don), Roy West, Elizabeth Foust (Tom), Jess West (Ida), Lori Searls (Paul), Jerry Eele, Debbie Grahm (Bobby), Sam Eele, Ron Eele (Deb), Jeff Eele (Diane); grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Memorial service is 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with family receiving friends beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 2756 3rd Avenue in Council Bluffs. Private graveside service will be on Friday in Graceland Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
