Hersel L. Kile

Hersel L. Kile Jr, age 71, passed away January 17, 2021.

He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 29, 1949 to the late Hersel and Colleen (Hull) Kile Sr. Hersel proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from OPPD.

Hersel is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Rachael Kile; Justin’s mother, Susana Godoy; brothers, Richard Kile (Geri) and John Kile (Kelly); grandchildren, Ethan and Lillian; best friend, Nadine Vodicka; a host of other family and friends.

Viewing and visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday January 21, 2021 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Friday, 11:00 a.m. at the Omaha National Cemetery.
