Hyla Hively

Hyla Hively, age 78, passed away at Jennie Edmundson Hospital on February 8, 2022. She was born February 17, 1943 to Oliver and Virginia (Ault) Gilson in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hively Sr.; brother, Dave Gilson; step-father, Howard Powell.

Hyla is survived by children, Tami (Ron) Neve, Howard (Mindi) Hively Jr. and Tracy Hively; siblings, Edward (Maryann) Gilson and Jinae Mercado; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; many family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday February 10, 2022.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Inurnment will be held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

The family will direct memorials.
