Jacqueline Smith

Jacquie was born in Oakland, Iowa January 6, 1930. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. Jacquie married Alan Smith August 12, 1951. They were married until Alan's death in November 2016. They had two children, Greg Smith and Valerie (Smith) Heuer; and son-in-law, Stephen Heuer; two grandchildren, Jack Heuer, age 32 of New York City and William Heuer, age 29 of Denver, Colorado. Jacquie worked at Iowa School for the Deaf for over 25 years. She loved dancing, water skiing, playing bridge and being with family and friends. Al and Jacquie loved traveling and journeyed all over the world.

Jacquie is preceded in death by husband, Alan; son, Greg; and sister, Juanita Kerns.
