Jennifer Lyn Bergsten

Jennifer L. Bergsten, age 42, of Council Bluffs passed away May 3, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 14, 1972. She graduated from St. Albert High School with the class of 1990 and then attended Iowa State University and then graduated from Buena Vista. Jennifer was a member of First Christian Church. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Ben Bergsten; daughters, Abby, Ally and Avary Bergsten; parents, Jim & Sheila Knudsen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marve & Pat Bergsten; sister-in-law, Dyan Larsen & her husband, Kent; brother-in-law, Mark Bergsten; special aunt, Marietta Nunez & her husband, Mike; a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 5-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be Wednesday 11AM at the funeral home followed by interment in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
