John "Jack" F. Burns

John Jack F. Burns, age 82, of Council Bluffs, passed away at home on April 11, 2016. He was born in Neola, Iowa on April 13, 1933 to Donald and Esther (Bonneson) Burns. Jack married Connie Pieper on April 14, 1951 in Omaha, NE. He is preceded in death by his grandson; Chad Smith. Jack is survived by his wife, Connie; daughters, Renee Rumbaugh (Steve), Julie Smith (Randy Smitty); son, Kevin Burns (Carolyn Siebels); 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, 2 brothers; nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jacks wishes were to be cremated and a reception celebrating his life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016, in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
