John M. Mitchell

John M. Mitchell, age 59, passed away at Nebraska Medicine on May 21, 2023.

He was born March 24, 1964, to Glen and June (Stillinger) Mitchell in Council Bluffs, IA. John graduated from Abraham Lincoln with the class of 1982 and worked in construction.

John is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lori Mitchell; sons, Nick Mitchell, Zach (Sarah McGuire) Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell, and Caleb Mitchell; granddaughters, Cecelia Mitchell and Gwen Mitchell; parents, Glen and June Mitchell; sister, Joanie (Ron) Tekippe; mother-in-law, Janice Smith; a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 PM followed by visitation until 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. The family will direct memorials.
