Joseph Bernholtz Sr., age 69, passed away on March 12, 2021
Joseph was born in Fort Dodge, IA, to the late Victor Bernholtz Jr. and Ida Mae Walter Bernholtz.
He was preceded in death by parents, Victor Bernholtz Jr. and Ida Mae Walter Bernholtz; nephew, Eric Bernholtz and Trey Bernholtz; brother, Victor E. Bernholtz III; significant other, Betty Borchman.
Joseph is survived by children, Acie (Jamie) Bernholtz, Mary (Clint) Davidson and Joseph II (Mary) Bernholtz; step-children, Debra (Russell) Sullivan and Dean (Deb) Roberts; siblings, Pam (Barry) Anderson, Paul (Toni) Bernholtz, Kathy Johnson, James (Cathy) Bernholtz, Mary (Kurt) Lemke, John (Quyen) Bernholtz, Leigh Roy (Tara) Bernholtz; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; many family and friends.
The family will direct memorials.
Visitation Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 2-4pm at Hoy Funeral Home.
