Juanita Wright, age 99, long time member of Hazel Dell United Methodist Church passed away peacefully at her place of residence in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Friday, January 29, 2016. Her immediate family were all there by her side as she crossed over to Eternity. To this end we say thank You Lord! Juanita was born on September 9, 1916 near Bismarck, North Dakota on the Mandan Indian Reservation to the late John and Hazel Webster. At the age of five, she traveled with her family from Mandan Indian Reservation to Effie Minnesota on a covered wagon. She was all about family faithful, kind, gentle, and with a warm motherly love. She loved traveling with her family, and fishing. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, and crocheting. Juanita loved the Lord and was always willing to serve in His house. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Wright, granddaughter, Sandra Jane Wright, two (2) sisters, and four (4) brothers. She is one of Ten (10) children, and is survived by: her sons, and daughters-in-law, Terry and Donna Wright Sr., Craig and Alice Wright, Douglas and Betty Wright Sr.; brother and sister-in-law Leonard and Margie Webster; Sisters, Irene Conaway, and Helen Loveless; 18 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 38 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Juanita Wright, a woman blessed and highly favored, was ready to go and be with her Lord and Savior. She is presently at peace and smiling, being with Him. Thanks to relatives and friends for your condolences, love, comfort and support during this time. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Hazel Dell Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Hazel Dell United Methodist Church or Hospice of Southwest Iowa.
