Judy Marie Blunt

Judy Marie Blunt, age 71, passed away in Council Bluffs on November 3, 2018.

She was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota on October 2, 1947 to the late Clarence and Hazel (Turbett) Wirtjes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, making quilts, and watching Nebraska football.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Blunt; daughter, Linda Dilley; brothers, James Mensch and Larry Wirtjes.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Chrissie (Michael) Blunt-Delp, Cheryl Ann Blunt; foster daughters, Rosie Richards, Desiree’ Jones, Monica Norris; grandchildren, Tabbi, Dakota, Patrick, Lynette, Jamie, Kristina, Jackson, Kelsie, Justin, Mikey, Lilly, Gabby, Tonya, T.W.; 12 great grandchildren; best friend, Kathy Burr; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service is Wednesday, 2 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
