Julia D. Trotter

Julia D. Trotter, age 75, passed away February 7, 2017.

She was born in Council Bluffs on January 27, 1942 to the late Ellsworth and Erma (Kirby) Leighton. Julia retired from Mastercraft Furniture.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Beebe; brother, LaRoy Leighton; grandsons, Leroy, Jonathan and David Starkey.

Julia is survived by her daughter, Julianna Leighton (Dan Buchholz); sister, Kathy Barba (Jon); grandchildren, Robert Jones Jr., Alexandria Bauer, Michael Kelley Jr., Christopher Buchholz.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2:00p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
