Kathryn Redding Skalberg

Kathryn Skalberg, age 62, passed away peacefully at Nebraska Medicine December 25, 2020. She was born June 11, 1958 to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Sublet) Redding in Council Bluffs, IA. She was a member of the American Legion- post 2, the Women’s Auxiliary and she was also a Legion Rider.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by father, Lawrence Redding; mother, Elizabeth Jean Redding; brother, Lyle Vittitoe; brother, Doug Vittitoe; sister-in-law, Janet Vittitoe.

Kathryn is survived by sisters, Becky Redding, Julie Jones, Debbie Redding; brother, Mike (Cindy) Redding; special friend, Randy Skalberg; special niece, Sara Hargis; 2 grandchildren, Jersey and Brooklyn; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, January 9, 2021, with an open visitation following the service until 5:00PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to any animal rescue.
