Kenneth E. Housley

Kenneth E. Housley, age 70, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on January 3, 2015. He was born in Council Bluffs on July 22, 1944 to the late Kenneth & Helen (Holmes) Housley. Kenneth is preceded in death by his sons, Anthony and Ricky Housley; mother, Helen Burk; step-mother, Marion Housley; father, Kenneth Housley; brother, David Housley. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Julayne Housley; children, Tina Plunkett, Robert Housley (Kristina), William Housley (Kami), Candice Housley, Mary Swedensky (Edward), Kristin Diggs (Benjamin); step-father, Robert Burk; sisters, Kitty Whisinnand (Todd) and Kelley Durand (Rick Piercey); brothers, Kenny Housley and Kasey Housley; 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 2100 South 11th Street in Council Bluffs, Rev. Ron Rosenkaimer officiating. Interment is in the Glenwood, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
