Larry Paul Hedegaard

Larry Paul Hedegaard, age 69, of Council Bluffs passed away November 18, 2016.
He was born in Council Bluffs on August 19, 1947 to the late Paul and Edna (Ferris) Hedegaard. Larry graduated from Underwood High School and then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Alter Trading Corporation and was a member of Missouri Valley Christian Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennin.

Larry is survived by his children, Lori Hopkins and her husband Joseph, Karen Anderson and her husband Kris, Michael Hedegaard and his wife Shawna; his wife of 48 years, Shirley Hedegaard; siblings, Alan Hedegaard and his wife Nancy, Ed Hedegaard and his wife Janet; grandchildren, Stephanie Chacon, Jeremy Hopkins, Kate, Cooper, Luke, and Levi Anderson, Martin and Emmett Hedegaard; great-grandchildren, Eden and Samuel Hopkins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested the Missouri Valley Christian Church in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
