Lillian E. Vorse

Lillian E. Vorse, age 94, of Council Bluffs, passed away August 20, 2017. She was born March 28, 1923, in Kiester Township, Minnesota, to Louis and Rose (Lettner) Kastner.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Capt. Larry Vorse; granddaughter, Kimberly Leytham; sisters, Ann Heston and Marie Rohm; brothers, John, Albert and Robert Kastner.

She is survived by her daughter, Toddy Stander (Ron); 2 sons, Jeffrey and Randall Davis (Jo); stepdaughter, Kathleen Marshall (Gary Dunham); 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home with the family visiting with friends the hour prior to the service. Private burial with the family will be in the Lewis Township Cemetery. The family will direct the memorials.
