Luis Villarreal

Luis Villarreal, age 83, passed away at his home on August 23, 2022.

He was born October 19, 1938, in Catarina, TX to the late Jose and Juanita (Cruz) Villarreal. Luis proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elida Villarreal; and brother, Jose Villarreal Jr.

Luis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Villarreal; children, Christina (Mike) Dean, Jerry (Margot) Villarreal, and Joseph (Nicole) Villarreal; siblings, Mary Morin, Jesse (Patti) Villarreal, Josie Sanchez, Eva Villarreal, Juanita Villarreal, Connie Cosley, Elsa (Bill) Byrd, and Carlos (Elsa) Villarreal; grandchildren, Paige Dean, Bevin Dean, Seth (Amy) Villarreal, Joseph Villarreal, Delaney Villarreal, Danielle Villarreal, and James Villarreal; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
