Lulu Belt

Lulu Belt, age 96, passed away peacefully at Country House Residence November 2, 2021. She was born August 31, 1925 to William and Verdie (Minnick) Emswiler in Honey Creek, Iowa. Lulu enjoyed boating, snow and water skiing, motorcycle riding, snowmobiling, golfing, sewing, baking, travel and dancing. Her pride and joy was her family and working on stained glass with Bud.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 12 siblings; son-in-law, Gary Butterbaugh.


Lulu is survived by husband of 79 years, Leonard (Bud) Belt; daughters, Kathy Butterbaugh Teri "Jeanne" (Terry) Bowman; grandchildren, Lisa, Jay, Stacy, Tiffany, Ian; great grandchildren, Nolan, Carter, Isa, Liam and Mila; many family and friends.


Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, November 05, 2021.

The family will direct memorials.
