Marshall Brown

Marshall Brown (Downtown) was born to Carlos and Shellie Brown on August 11, 1962 in Lawton Oklahoma. He went home to glory on January 8, 2023.

Marshall graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1980. Though he received many full ride scholarships to go to college Marshall always knew he wanted to join the United States Air Force. In 1981 he left for boot camp in San Antonio, Texas. That was the start of his love for travel. Marshall served his country as a proud Special Services Airman.

Marshall had a deep love for Christ and became an ordained deacon at the age of 15 in 1978. He served at Calvary Baptist Church and though he moved to Texas in 2015 Calvary remained in his heart.

Marshall is now in Heaven with his Father Carlos Brown and his Daughter Janay Brown. He leaves his Mother Shellie Brown and 4 brothers Carlos, Michael, Bobby and Lenny Brown, Sister Zetta Johnson, His 2 daughters Joslynn and Akisha Brown, Son Carlos Marshall Brown, and his 7 grandchildren Lailana, Mekhai, Melaia, Kamila, Gabriel, Aryus, and Aryah. He also has numerous nephews and nieces that will miss him greatly.  Please wear your favorite team jersey in honor of Marshall.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory.

Visitation with the family will be held an hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home.

He will be interred in the Garner Township Cemetery.
