Martha Yamileth Monge Rios

Martha Yamileth Monge Rios, age 34, passed away at CHI Medical Center-Bergan Mercy,
Omaha, Nebraska, on June 20, 2020.

She was born in Canton Agua Caliente, Apt de La Union, El Salvador on May 17, 1986, to
Martha Garcia and Pablo Reys Rios. Martha moved to Los Angeles, California with her mom
and sister in 1999. In 2003, Martha moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where she graduated from
Abraham Lincoln High School in 2006. She later attended and graduated from Kaplan University in 2013.

When Martha settled in Council Bluffs, Iowa, she found many ways to occupy herself. During
her time in Council Bluffs, she worked at Lake Manawa Walmart and Metro Crossing Olive
Garden. In 2013 she assisted her husband in opening, maintaining and operating their local
business, Latino Market in Council Bluffs. Where she grew to know and love many of their
clients. Additionally, she transitioned to CHI Health Clinic- Broadway Campus, with an
occupation as a medical assistant, all this may lead one to conclude that the lives she impacted truly were many.

Martha knew how to light up a gathering. Her contagious laugh and intense storytelling skills
made for perfect entertainmentment; which is exactly what she loved to do. Whether it was her
kid’s birthday, a co-worker’s birthday, or just Friday night at home with her kids and husband,
Martha knew the importance of celebrating milestones, no matter how small.

Martha’s love, laugh, strong faith and welcoming arms will be missed by all those whom she
loved. She was special and loved by those close to her, and even those afar. Martha was a
loving and caring mother, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and so much more.

She is preceded in death by her father Pablo Reys Rios.

Martha is survived by her husband, Carlos Monge; daughter, Jocelyn Monge; son, Delvin
Monge; son, Braden Monge; daughter, Adelynn Monge; mother, Martha Garcia; sister, Xenia
Rios; niece, Ayin Monge; and many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers in-law,
sisters in-law, cousins and more.

Visitation is Friday, June 26, 2020, 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. A
memorial service in celebration of her life will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020, 9:00am, also at the funeral home.

Ella nació en el Cantón Agua Caliente, Apt. De La Unión, El Salvador, el 17 de mayo de 1986,
es hija de Martha García y Pablo Reys Ríos. Martha se mudó a Los Ángeles, California con su madre y su hermana en 1999. En 2003, Martha se mudó a Council Bluffs, Iowa, donde se
graduó de la Escuela Secundaria Abraham Lincoln en 2006. Más tarde asistió y se graduó de la Universidad de Kaplan en 2013.

Cuando Martha se estableció en Council Bluffs, Iowa, encontró muchas formas de ocuparse.
Durante su tiempo en Council Bluffs, trabajó en Lake Manawa Walmart y Metro Crossing Olive Garden. Marta sabía cómo encender una reunión. Su risa contagiosa y sus intensas habilidades para
contar historias fueron un entretenimiento perfecto; que es exactamente lo que le gustaba
hacer. Si era el cumpleaños de su hijos, el cumpleaños de un compañero de trabajo, o solo el
viernes por la noche en casa con sus hijos y su esposo, Martha sabía la importancia de
celebrar ocasiones en la vida, sin importar cuán pequeños sean.
Todos los que la amaban extrañaran Martha’s amor, risas, fe firme y brazos acogedoras Ella
era especial y amada por aquellos cercanos a ella, e incluso aquellos que estaban lejos. Martha era una madre, esposa, hermana, hija, tía, sobrina, amiga y mucho más amorosa y cariñosa.

Le precedieron en la muerte su padre Pablo Reys Ríos.

A Martha le sobreviven su esposo, Carlos Monge; hija, Jocelyn Monge; hijo, Delvin Monge; hijo, Braden Monge; hija, Adelynn Monge; madre, Martha Garcia; hermana, Xenia Rios; sobrina, Ayin Monge; y muchas más sobrinas, sobrinos, tías, tíos, cuñados, cuñadas, primos y más.

La visita es el viernes 26 de junio de 2020 de 6:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m.en la funeraria Hoy Kilnoski.

Un servicio conmemorativo en celebración de su vida se llevará a cabo el sábado 27 de junio
de 2020 a las 9:00 a.m.
