Michael G. Sizer

Michael Sizer, age 68, passed away peacefully at CHI Health Mercy Hospital April 12, 2021. He was born February 27, 1953 to Sydney and Laura Jean (Blackman) Sizer in Council Bluffs, IA. Michael lived in Council Bluffs the majority of his life. Michael enjoyed teaching, land surveying, politics, gardening and volunteering at the West End Optimist Club. He was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his family.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Blackman and Don Sizer.

Michael is survived by wife, Linda Holley; nephew, Adam Struck; great nephews, numerous cousins and a host of family and friends.
