Michael V. Detton

Michael V. Detton, age 65, of Council Bluffs passed away July 2, 2014 at his home. He was born in Nampa, Idaho on September 14, 1948 to the late Melvin J. & B. Marie (Heberling) Detton. Michael had retired from the Union Pacific Rail Road. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Detton and his brother, Melvin Gregg Detton. Michael is survived by his children, Jeffrey Detton (Sarah), Michelle Jacobsen (Christopher), Jason Detton (Sommer), Kristina Detton, Mariya Poling (John), Melissa Moore (Derrick), Tyler Detton, Danielle Kemper (Matthew); 15 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kanesville Ward - 2303 Butler Street in Council Bluffs. Inurnment will follow in the Garner Township Cemetery.
