Randall A. Timm

Randall A. Timm, age 66 of Council Bluffs passed away October 30, 2013 at the Nebraska Medical Center. He was born in Council Bluffs on June 15, 1947 to the late Alfred and Elsie (Limberg) Timm. Randall A. Timm, age 66 of Council Bluffs passed away October 30, 2013 at the Nebraska Medical Center. He was born in Council Bluffs on June 15, 1947 to the late Alfred and Elsie (Limberg) Timm. Randall graduated from Treynor High School in 1965, where he was an All-State pitcher on the baseball team, he also played football, basketball and ran track. After high school he went to work at the Council Bluffs Savings Bank. He retired from Amoco Oil Company and then delivered for Corums Flowers for a number of years. Through his life he keep active by playing softball and bowling, he was also involved in coaching youth soccer. He enjoyed being around the children and giving them the opportunity to play. Randy was a member of Broadway Christian Church and served as a deacon and treasurer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Timm; in-laws, Robert & DeLoris Hull. Randall is survived by his wife, Carol Timm; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa & Alan Swiecicki; son and daughter-in-law, Matt & Kerry Timm; grandsons, Christian and Nicholas Swiecicki; sister-in-law, Karen Shanno and her husband, Larry; brother-in-law, Robert Hull and his wife, Donna; brother, Roger Timm; nieces, nephews and so many special friends, too numerous to list. Visitation is Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Broadway Christian Church 2658 Avenue A in Council Bluffs. Memorials are suggested to Broadway Christian Church Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
