Raymond F Sorrell

Raymond F. Sorrell, age 74, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on June 2, 2017.

He was born in Shenandoah, Iowa on March 20, 1943 to the late Raymond M. and Gertrude (Hays) Sorrell. Raymond graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He retired from MidAmerican Energy after 35 years. Raymond was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Kathy Sorrell; son, Michael Sorrell; sister and brother-in-law, LaRita and Rick Hoselton; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Monday June 5, 2017 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
