Robert M. Depew

Robert Marvin Depew, age 81, passed away on January 2, 2021 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on September 4, 1939 to the late Marvin and Carolyn (Shadden) Depew. Robert graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1957 and then proudly served in the US Airforce from 1961 to 1965. After his honorable discharge, he was a technician for Sears until his retirement in 1998. He was an active member of First Christian Church since 1968.

Robert is survived by his wife, Luanne; daughters, Faith (Kirk) Koenig, Rachele (Kelly) Ehmcke, Dianne (Bill) Wilson; brother, Ronald (Ranae) Depew; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service is Saturday, January 16, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. He was interred in Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Northwest Christian Church.
