Rodney J. Harter

Rodney J. Harter, age 56, of Council Bluffs passed away at Methodist Jennie Edmundson.

He was born in Council Bluffs on December 18, 1960 to Jack and Helen (Anderson) Harter. Rodney graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1979. He was the parts manager at Tighton Tools.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 36 years, Julie (Chapman) Harter; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Samantha Harter, Kyle and Amanda Harter; parents, Jack and Helen Harter; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Roseanne Harter; grandchildren, Jack, Myles and Alaina; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 9:00a.m. on Friday followed by brunch in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
