Tracie Ann Clark

March 24, 1971 — November 26, 2014

A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. - Christopher Reeve Tracie Ann Clark endured almost 8 years of cancer treatments, doctors telling her she had one year or less to live and two surgeries to remove the tumors that Glioblastoma caused and all while remaining the most loving and strong woman any of us would ever know. She would say she made the choice to live life as fully as she could for the sake of her family. Some might think it's sad that her children will live in a world without her now... But it would be even sadder if they never knew the selfless woman who was always at dance recitals, football games and there whenever they needed her. Her husband knew the same selfless woman who kept their lives in motion with a million smiles, booming laughter and hilarious insights throughout their 21 years of marriage. She was that strong, loving, charismatic and selfless woman to the "Stephens family" in Iowa and "Clark family" in Omaha. She also impacted countless clients from the salon, "Sheer Attitudes," in Council Bluffs, Iowa that she co-owned with close friends and worked at for more than 12 years. The many people who knew her and loved will never forget her. We can all close our eyes and see the brightness that always shined in hers. She was a diamond mine. Tracie Ann Clark is survived by her husband, Richard Clark; children, Tyler, Victoria and William Clark; parents, Myron and Shirley Stephens; brothers Robert and Rick Stephens and families; In-laws, John and Mary Clark; and extended family and friends. Visitation is Monday 5-8PM and a Celebration of Life Service is Tuesday 2PM, all at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials may be directed to the family.
