Vernon Carl Magnussen

Vernon Carl Magnussen, age 87, passed away March 24, 2020.

He was born on June 29, 1932 to the late Carl and Esther (Bondo) Magnussen in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In addition to his parents, Vernon was preceded in death by his sons, Randy Magnussen and John Magnussen; daughter, Linda Mulholland; baby daughter, Holly Magnussen; grandson, Jason Mulholland; brother, Don Magnussen; sisters, Frances Bracker, Elvera Beam and Arlene Christensen.

He is survived by his children, Cami Magnussen Webb, Chris Magnussen, Jodi King, Terry Johnson (Mike), Gary Magnussen, Jesse Magnussen, Kristi Robillard and Carl Magnussen; grandchildren, Kyle Pesek, Kory Pesek, Natalie Webb, Taylor Hineline, Jacob King, Joseph King, Madden Magnussen, Morgan Magnussen, Aden Magnussen, Noah Magnussen, Ethan Magnussen, Briana Motter, Josh Magnussen, Rylie Johnson, Sam Johnson, Brent Armstrong, Thomas Robillard and Lucas Robillard; great-grandchildren, Everett Motter and Ashur Motter; close friend, Gary Robey; companion and caregiver, Faye Lind; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Viewing 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
