Wilma Bothwell

Wilma Bothwell, age 90, passed away peacefully at Jennie Edmundson Hospital

September 16, 2022. She was born August 11, 1932, to the late William and Ethel (Karr) Strong in Onawa, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Bothwell Sr.; sisters, Charlotte Strong, Margaret Watts, and Beverly Murphy; grandchildren, Aaron Bothwell and Gracie Bothwell; great-grandchildren, Cole Bothwell and Merle Gene Jensen; daughter-in-law, Janis Bothwell.

Wilma is survived by her children, Debbie (Bill) Foster, Merle Bothwell Jr., Bill (Roxanne) Bothwell, Cindy Arndt, Craig Bothwell, and Michelle (Mike Jones) Bothwell; siblings, Shirley Matkosky, Raymond Strong, and Richard Strong; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral Home followed by a luncheon and then burial that afternoon in the Little Sioux Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
