Allen E. Alsman

Allen E. Alsman, age 65, of Treynor, Iowa passed away January 18, 2018 at the Josie Harper Hospice House.

He was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on May 29, 1952. Allen proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from the Army Corps. Of Engineers as a communication specialist.

He was preceded in death by his father, Drury Alsman; brother, Stephen Alsman; father-in-law, Ronald Brockman.

Allen is survived by his wife, Jo Alsman; children, Nathan Alsman (Jackie), Nicole Frizzell (Scott), Jessica Alsman, Breanne Woten (Patrick), Zach Alsman (Alex Crum); mother, Shirley Alsman; siblings, Sherril Flannery (Jim), Mike Alsman (Carol), Lynn Alsman, Cathie Wever, Bill Alsman and Bob Alsman; mother-in-law, Lavon Brockman; grandchildren, Wesley, Brendan, Ryan, Ethan, Madi, Charlotte and Elliot is on the way; dogs, Bo and Max; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation begins at 2:00p.m. on Sunday January 21, 2018 with a memorial service starting at 4:00p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
