Arlene Leola Sheely

Arlene L. Sheely, age 94, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011. She was born April 21, 1917, at Fremont, Neb. Arlene graduated in 1935 from Thomas Jefferson High School. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and worked for many years at Hockenberg's in Omaha. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norvin W. Sheely. Arlene is survived by her children, Gay Wernett, Kathy Sorrell and husband, Raymond, Jay Sheely and wife, Mary, Susan Paladino and husband, Marion; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Wednesday 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. Memorials are suggested to Micah House.
