Betty D. Peoples

Betty D. Peoples, age 77 of Omaha passed away November 20, 2012. She was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on April 17, 1935 to the late Leroy and Jennie Mae (Swanger) Stephens. Betty retired from the Douglas County Health Department as a records clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dale Peters. Betty is survived by her children, Jackson Peters, Betty Diane Valentine, Kathy Moyer (Larry), Charles Peoples (Teresa), Charlene Pierce (Edward Eugene), Bruce Peoples (Eliza), Shawn Peoples (Robin), Tracy Peoples (Karyn); step-children, Zennobia Parham, Lynn Peoples, Mary Pookie Peoples, Clyde Peoples; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday 4-6PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Monday 11AM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
