Betty M. Djureen

Betty M. Djureen, age 85, of Council Bluffs passed away at her home on November 4, 2015. She was born in Glenwood, Iowa on November 17, 1929 to the late Elmer and Sara Jane Boyce. Betty married Lester Djureen on August 21, 1948 and together they were members of Saint John Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ross Boyce. Betty is survived by her husband, Lester Djureen; daughter, Sheryl Djureen; grandson, Jaysen Vaughn and his wife Jennifer; great grandson, Tyson. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday November 9, 2015 with a memorial service to start at 7:00 p.m. at Saint John Lutheran Church 633 Willow Avenue in Council Bluffs. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Glenwood, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
